Bank Team Support Assistant (Inpatient Unit)
Introduction
Various hours and shifts available (Including regular weekend working)
Salary: £12.53 per hour
Bank
We’re looking for passionate and proactive individuals to join our Clinical Services Coordination Team as Bank Team Support Assistants on our Inpatient Unit. In this vital role, you’ll contribute to the smooth running of the unit and the delivery of seamless, high-quality care by providing excellent administrative support and being an integral part of a collaborative and compassionate team.
Your Role
As a key member of a busy and dynamic team, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals—representing the warmth and professionalism of Rowcroft from the very first interaction.
You’ll manage enquiries with empathy, clarity, and discretion, ensuring that everyone who contacts or visits the unit feels supported and well cared for. Your strong organisational skills will help coordinate timely and effective patient care, and your calm, focused approach will be essential in this fast-paced and meaningful setting.
This is a seven-day service, and the role will include a mix of weekday and weekend shifts to ensure consistent and high-quality support is maintained throughout the week.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll be someone who thrives in a collaborative and compassionate team environment. You communicate clearly and confidently and are comfortable working in a setting where priorities can shift quickly. Calm under pressure and highly organised, you enjoy finding practical solutions and take pride in helping services run smoothly and efficiently.
Strong IT and administrative skills are essential, along with a proactive mindset and excellent attention to detail. You’ll be experienced in handling sensitive information with discretion, and you approach all interactions—whether with patients, families, or colleagues—with warmth, professionalism, and empathy.
Previous experience in healthcare or a similar administrative setting is helpful, but most important is your genuine passion for supporting people and making a positive impact during a significant time in their lives.
What’s In It for You?
This is an opportunity to be part of a supportive, friendly, and purpose-driven team, delivering exceptional care to patients and their loved ones. You’ll be contributing to something deeply meaningful every day—helping ensure that those in our care feel safe, valued, and respected. You’ll work in a beautiful location alongside colleagues who value kindness, integrity, and teamwork, and you’ll be supported to grow, develop, and take pride in the work you do.
