Local Leaflet Volunteers
Introduction
Are you looking for a flexible volunteer role with the option to choose your own hours? That gets you out and about and making new connections in your community?
We are in need of some help with spreading the word about our local events & community fundraisers, such as Open Gardens, Big Bakes Challenge and the Big Tackle – these events make a significant contribution to our fundraising efforts and help keep us connected.
Can you help us?
Our fundraising team is looking for friendly and approachable people to help deliver leaflets to a variety of places, including local neighbourhoods, shops, community centres, cafes, libraries, and the like. This would be on an adhoc basis timed around the event calendar.
All we ask is that you keep a record of the places you have visited to distribute the leaflets and let us know.
This role would suit sociable, active people who are happy to spend time outdoor outdoors. It might also be of interest to dog walkers or even small walking/social groups etc.
Rowcroft Hospice is an independent charity that provides comfort, support and specialist care to over 2,000 patients and their loved ones across South Devon each year. Our Vision is to make every day the best it can be for all patients, and those closest to them, living with life-limiting illnesses in South Devon.
